spray tanning

Spray tanning is a type of artificial tanning in which the tanning compound is sprayed on to the skin in an aerosol form. The composition of the tanning compound in spray tanning is similar to the other types of unless tanning products but this compound is suspended in particular form and dispensed out via an aerosol can. This method is also called airbrush tanning. This is a very popular method of self tanning because of its ease of use and effectiveness. Airbrush tanning can be done from the comfort of the house and does not need the assistance of additional equipment or people.

Spray tanning can assure the users of an even spread of tanning compound throughout the skin surface. The normal complaint that self tanners always have is that of uneven tanning. Sunless tanning products like creams, lotions and gels carry the risk of uneven application over the kin surface and this in turn can lead to uneven tannin. Bu with airbrush tanning, the chemicals spread more evenly because they in particulate form. The chances of over spreading an under spreading is greatly reduced. It also takes lesser time for completion of airbrush tanning process hen compared to other products.

Spray tanning is also done by professionals. They can use the spray tanning cans or can offer tanning booths to the people. Tanning booths are small rooms that are designed to spray the entire body at a time, with tanning chemicals. A typical tanning booth session can last less than a minute; it is very fast but the effects of the tan last for lesser time. Airbrush tanning, when done by professionals, lasts longer and is even more evenly spread than that of self tanning. The spray used is the same but the technique of spraying is better and hence the longer lasting results.

Airbrush tanning is relatively safe. If here are any side effects, they are only due to allergic reactions which are minor. Allergic reactions are also very rare and there are no known side effects with any of the sunless tanning products. Spray tanning is a safer alternative to sun tanning and UV tanning because there is no risk of sun burn or skin contamination. It is also faster than these methods; a typical session of 15 minutes can give a tan that lasts for more than 10 days.
